New Business Formation Package | Single-Member LLC

For a Single-Member LLC 

By purchasing this Package, you agree to the terms of the Engagement Letter. A Better Business: A Law Firm for Entrepreneurs will be your entity's legal counsel for a limited scope engagement to form your entity, apply for an EIN, and prepare and file the entity's BOI Report.  

The New Business Formation Package includes:

1. Articles of Organization.  We will file the Articles with the appropriate state of formation.

2. Operating Agreement & Initial Corporate Resolutions.  We will draft the initial governing documents of your company, which are often requested by the Bank when opening a new business bank account. 

3. EIN Certificate. We will apply for an Employer Identification Number (federal Tax ID) with the IRS.  

4. BOI Report. We will collect the information necessary to file the entity's BOI Report with FinCEN.

5. Optional Services. A 30 minute call with an attorney and one round of document revisions.

Note: This package does not include applying for State or local tax IDs, nor do we apply for your local business license (if applicable).  But feel free to ask us for guidance on these issues if you have questions!  We are able to assist with some of these services (depending on location) for an additional charge.
